Creative Generation
Founded in April 2019, Jeff serves as the managing director of Creative Generation, an organization that is working to inspire, connect, and amplify the work of young creatives who are leading social change and those who are committed to cultivating their creativity.
Carnegie Mellon University
Appointed in November 2018, Jeff serves as an adjunct instructor for Arts in Education within the Master of Arts Management program at Carnegie Mellon University.
American University
Appointed in August 2020, Jeff serves as Adjunct Professorial Lecturer in the Arts Management program at American University in Washington, D.C.
Dancing Classrooms DC
In June 2019, Jeff M. Poulin joined the board of directors of Dancing Classrooms DC. Launched in 1994, Dancing Classrooms is an arts education program that uses ballroom dance to develop social skills and enhance academic success for 5th grade students.
Jeff is currently leading the board through a strategic planning process to determine a future for the organization’s impact in the District of Columbia.
OCU: DC
Since 2015, OCU:DC - the Oklahoma City University alumni network of the nation’s capital region - has gathered. Beginning in 2019, Jeff took on the chairmanship of the leadership committee and oversaw the development and implementation of the first-ever Spring Break DC program: The Arts Management Exchange, taking place in March 2020.
International Teaching Artist Collaborative
In March 2020, Jeff was appointed as an Innovator with the International Teaching Artist Collaborative (ITAC). He will be leading an initiative, on behalf of Creative Generation, titled, “Knowledge Sharing and Digital Learning Project.”
Dancers Inc
The first Mr. Dance national title winner, Jeff has been involved with Dancers Inc since 2006. Beginning in 2018, he serves as a director producing cutting edge dance education experiences alongside the finest teachers, judges, and choreographers in the American dance competition/convention industry. Additionally, Jeff founded the Dancers Inc Foundation in 2018 and serves as its President.
Ultimate Dance Showcase UK
Beginning in 2017, Jeff joined lifelong friend and founder of UDSUK, Nicole Lacy-Thompson, to foster a place where dancers of all ages and abilities, from all over the United Kingdom, take part in exciting dance education experiences.
American Alliance for Theatre & Education
In Spring 2020, Jeff will be hosting a series of virtual professional development opportunities focused on casemakerqing and storytelling to advance theatre education in schools and communities.
Young & Emerging Leaders Forum
In collaboration with the World Alliance for Arts Education (WAAE) Summit: Impact 2020, Jeff chairs an international planning committee of practitioners who will host the first-ever Young & Emerging Leaders Forum on October 27, 2020.
